Below, Staven is giving us a tour of the base. The two men to the right are those Staven will be working with. They came out just to support Staven! Two great men, we enjoyed hanging out with them for two days

This statue was unveiled during the ceremonies. Symbolizing the Minute Men and that each one of the 136 Officer Candidates was like a minute man in that each one of them will be called to step up and be great leaders at anytime, anywhere, and are willing to fight for their country

Lieutenant Thompson!

Building Staven Slept in

State Oaths! Once in a lifetime event my friends! I love the sight of all the Officer Candidates standing at attention!

Staven taking his State Oath. To his right is his fellow Utah Officer Candidate he also has the last name of Thompson! What are the odds!

Pinning on the Gold Bars!!

Below is Staven quarters! ALways had to be clean and perfectly spaced! He always had a clean room...Looking for those same habits at home ;)

This was the formal/awards night. We got to dress up and look purty!

Staven gave an Outstanding speech infront of over 500 people, and presented two plaques. He did excellent!

Below, all Officer Candidates taking on the Federal Oath! This was pretty cool to see! Dad T and I were on the second row!

The official pinning on of the Lt. Bars by Colonel Hall

Staven was the Wing Commander and lead the whole group! He is the point of the 3 in front

And thats it!! I couldn't be more proud of him!
I Love you Staven!

A few of my joys:
Having Gabe to hold when Staven was gone
Receiving letters from Staven-this was the best
Sending Staven letters
Deciding to go out to Alabama
Landing in Montgomery
Getting off the plane and driving away from the airport, toward Staven
Seeing Staven walking towards me (once Dad T and I decided the other 3 men before him were actually not him. :)
Then finally being there with Staven and loving every minute.
It was an Honor Stav!
